Import Duties, Taxes & Customs Charges (International Orders)
Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to import duties, VAT, taxes, and handling fees, depending on the destination country and the value of your order.
Important to know:

Import duties and taxes are not included in our prices for international orders (except the USA – see below).

These charges are set by your local customs authority, not by The Collective Dancewear.

Any customs charges are payable by the recipient at the time the parcel enters the destination country.
When are charges applied?
In most cases, customs fees are applied once the parcel arrives in your country. Your local courier or customs office will contact you if payment is required before delivery.
Handling fees
In addition to import duty or VAT, your local courier may charge administration or handling fees. These are also the responsibility of the recipient.
US Customers
For US customers only, prices are inclusive of any applicable tariffs, and you should not incur any additional customs charges upon delivery.
All Other Countries
For all other destinations, you may be charged import duties, VAT, or handling fees by your country’s customs department.

Why we do not offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)
As a small business, we currently do not have the administrative capacity to calculate and submit Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) taxes for every country. Customs charges are determined solely by the destination country’s authorities, and we have no control over the final amount.
