Hair Accessories, Socks & Tights

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of tights, socks (including Blochsox), bun wraps, bun nets, hair pins, hair bands or any other hair accessories.

All other terms of our returns policy apply.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. If you would like a different item, size or colour, please place a new order and return the unwanted item for a refund.

Returns

We hope you love your purchase, but if something isn't quite right, you may return eligible items for a refund.

To qualify for a refund, please see the following: 

  • You have 14 days to notify us of your return and 14 further days for the return to have been delivered to us. 
  • The items need to be unworn, unwashed and in their original condition.
  • The items have to have all original tags attached.
  • The items need to be free from make-up, fake tan, perfume, deodorant, body odour, pet hair and any other marks or damage.

All returned items are inspected upon receipt. If an item does not meet these requirements, we reserve the right to refuse a refund.

We cannot accept:

  • Items returned after the 28-day return period.
  • Items that have been worn, washed, damaged or altered.
  • Items with missing tags.
  • Items that are not in a fully resalable condition.

For items returned after 28 days, we reserve the right to issue a credit note or return the items to you.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning unwanted items.

We do not provide free returns for items returned due to personal preference, including where the colour, style or fit is not as expected. While we make every effort to accurately represent our products, colours may vary slightly due to screen settings and photography.

We recommend using a tracked and insured postal service, as returned items remain your responsibility until they arrive with us.

Please complete and include our returns form with your return to help us process your refund as quickly as possible.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method once your return has been inspected and approved.

Please allow up to 10 working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) from the date your return is delivered for processing.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

Excessive Returns

We understand that occasionally an item may not be quite right. However, where a customer repeatedly returns all or the majority of their orders, we reserve the right to apply a returns handling fee of up to 10% of the return value, refuse future returns, or restrict future purchases.

This helps us manage the costs associated with processing returns and allows us to continue offering exceptional service and carefully curated dancewear to our community.

Returned-to-Sender Orders

A £10 administration fee will be deducted from any refund where an order is returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect delivery address, or where delivery is refused.

This covers the charges incurred for returned parcels.

Collection Point & Locker Returns

Returns must be sent directly to our returns address.

We do not accept returns sent to collection points, parcel shops or InPost lockers. If we choose to accept such a return, a £5 collection fee may be deducted from the refund.

Faulty Items

We carefully inspect all products before dispatch. If you believe you have received a faulty item, please email returns@thecollectivedancewear.com with your order number, details of the issue and photographs where possible.

Once the item has been assessed, we will arrange a replacement, repair or refund in accordance with your consumer rights.
